The Midcounties Co-operative donates £750 to Aylesbury community groups
The 1st Berryfield Scout Group, based at The Aylesbury Vale Academy, used a £250 donation to help buy new tents to allow more scouts to experience the joys of camping.
Busy Bees Playgroup have used their funds to buy new storage for toys and arts and craft materials, while Bucks CC Football Club can now buy new footballs and training equipment for the team.

Hide AdThe grants form part of a Community Fund, which awards recipients throughout The Midcounties Co-operative’s trading areas, and underlines the Society’s commitment to Aylesbury.
Mike Pickering, Leadership Team Ambassador at The Midcounties Co-operative in Aylesbury said: “Our grants scheme is a way of giving something back to organisations that make a valuable contribution to people in Aylesbury.
“As a co-operative, helping to develop young people is something that we’re passionate about and local scout clubs, playgroups and sports teams play a huge role in doing just that. We’re proud to provide funds for these three groups to help them continue their great work in the community.”
