A spectacular show put on by the Stagecoach groups from Aylesbury and Thame raised £11,ooo for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.

The show took place at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre in March and the money was handed over yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The hospice’s PR and marketing manager Sam Heggie said: “It was fantastic to see the show with a real mixture of ages from tiny tots to teenagers and our thanks go to Stagecoach Thame and Aylesbury, all the dancers and all the parents.

“You can equate £11,000 to paying for 11 weeks of inpatient nursing.”
